Fresh Outta Base is more than just a saying, it's a tribute to where my journey began.

I started cutting at my first barbershop, FOB Cuts, owned by my older brother. “FOB” stood for “Fresh Off the Boat,” but to us, it meant staying proud of our roots and our culture. We operated out of a place we all called The Base, a warehouse that became home to Brown Pride and four other growing businesses. It wasn’t just a gym. It was a second home. A space where hustle, brotherhood, and dreams came to life.

This studio is the next step in that journey. A humble beginning, built on the same energy and ambition we had back at The Base. Every cut here is about more than just looking good it’s about helping people feel confident, inspired, and ready to level up in life.
